Your posting is very resourceful. However, I beg to disagree on a few issues:
(1)I think it is important to be straight with people as Christians instead of "So I stepped back and didn't answer his texts or phone calls". Every relationship is built on mutual trust and communication-so shutting out your EX without letting them know that IT was over would not be a good idea.
(2)"We are Princesses and need to be pursued": As a guy, much as I agree to this, ladies should show interest if it is there instead of playing the "Hide and Seek" game. It tires many a man. If there is no interest, it is better to politely tell the man as much-the truth we know is less painful than the lie we don't know.

Good Advice by: Anonymous
Thanks! That was good advice. I am in a similar situation. I met someone I had no interest in at first and later we became friends and we would see each other daily, but I felt why... if we are not committed and we are just friends.
I fell short one too many times however, I have repented and through prayer and fasting I'm embarking on the promises of God by being obedient. I want to get married but not to just anyone. I want it to be specifically made for me. So I will keep in the work and prayer day by day, standing firm on the Lord's words.
