Anonymous, thank you for the wonderful words. I will have to be honest--the couple I was referring to is me and my fiance (I didn't know at the time that he didn't mind me saying it was us, so that's why I had it in third person.) I see in your relationship a lot of what we went through--and what we're going through. We have been through so many tests and trials that we wouldn't have been able to get through if there wasn't a deep-seated foundation of God and communication. God bless! :-)

This is so true. I've been dating my boyfriend for a month and before then we were good friends. We've talked about a lot of things like sex after marriage, he respects me not yet wanting to hold hands yet, we don't walk where it's completely dark, if I'm quiet he asks if everything is ok and if it's not we talk it out and vice versa, he's learned my love languages yet I've chosen not to tell him he's right as I choose to wait until he tells me he's dating me towards marriage, he encourages me and asks me what I think before we do something...I feel truly blessed to have him in my life and ever since the beginning when we met I chose to give our friendship and now relationship totally to God though it's been difficult at times it's been totally worth it! It's so true that it's important to talk a lot.
