We have found Christian movie reviews to be an invaluable tool when it comes to making decisions about what movies to view.

There are plenty of movies that sound fun and exciting from the previews; that is the whole point of producing a good preview. We have discovered that it is much easier to avoid seeing a movie than it is to remove the images from a bad movie from our memories. You have probably discovered this as well.

If it were not for the Christian movie reviews that we have read over the years we would have a great deal more "bad" memories than we would prefer.

Some time ago we chose to stop viewing ‘R’ rated movies. There has been one exception to that rule and that was "The Passion of the Christ". Just read a few Christian movie reviews and you'll understand why.

Generally, ‘R’ rated movies are full of violence, sex, and profanity. As Christians we can find better ways to use the time God has given us here on Earth.

If you are still viewing ‘R’ rated movies then we challenge you to stop.

After all, what are you really missing? Will it change your life to miss those movies? Better still, will it be more honoring to Jesus if you are not viewing those movies?

Would you take Jesus to a movie to see the sex, violence, and listen to the filth that you find in those movies? We pray not!

As a Christian, Jesus lives within you so He's with you there anyway! :O)

You have to be very selective with ‘PG13’ movies also since they are often just a step away from the ‘R’ rating. It is quite shocking to read a Christian movie review and see what many 'PG13' movies contain.

Check these Christian movie review sites often. You will find a variety of opinions about some movies, but generally they are in agreement about the values of the content of the movie being reviewed.

Some of the sites do not provide an opinion, but only provide the information so that you can make informed decisions. Others will make recommendations based on a family friendly scale they have developed. Protect the minds of your family and yourselves.
